Brown Bagger Rules

  • To get into the club you must catch two browns over ten pounds.
  • The browns must be caught in North America.
  • If the fish is out the great lakes region it must be 15 pounds to equal a non great lakes 10 pounder.
  • If the fish is caught out of North America it will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
  • All fish need to be weighed on a certified scale. If a certified scale is not available then a high quality digital or spring scale should be used.
  • Length and girth should be taken.
  • Good photo documentation has to be provided. Video documentation is even better. Try to include the scale readout and length/girth measurements.
  • A witness should to be present at weigh in.
  • A panel of member may vote on any fish that they think may be close to 10 pounds.
