I just got these pics in of angler Jordan Sams with his 36 pound striper he landed near Laughlin. The cool thing was he ran into Allan and Allan was able to weigh the fish on a good scale. This is the largest striper we have seen landed on the river in 4 years. It crushed a 9" AC Original. He also landed a 17 pounder the day before on the same 9" Original. Great to see fish of this caliber being caught!
Chris Winslow got a 17. I caught a couple small ones. I'll be back.
Congrats to Jordan Sams...... His largest striper yet. And they catch double digit browns using my 7 inch AC Minnow.
I saw their pictures. Large big brownies..We are getting two more brownbaggers.
They stayed fishing and I went over to Riviera Marina, in Bullhead City across the river.... because Rusty wanted to see the fish and weigh and measure it...it weighed 35.78 on his certified scale late in the afternoon and Jordan caught it early in the morning so it lost a little and my scale was 100% accurate..it measured 45 inches and would have been a 50 pounder if it was fat. But its still winter...He said it was the largest striper he'd
ever seen come out of that river. There have been larger ones, but at his tackle store there he has been for 20 years he has not seen a larger striper himself..
The AC Plug is the best for huge stripers..
Most over 40 lbs by far than any other lure. Plus 3three over 60 including the Arizona and Nevada records....check out the AC Plug striper club stats.....under ABOUT on the front page... _________________
