got one!!! jimmy and I hit Pineview... took five hours of trollingand casting then I finally connected with my 1st tiger musky.. it ate a 5 inch original AC plug, in the rainbow flavor. goobattle, with a few- fast, hard runs under the boat. it was 37 inches .. we released it and immmediatly got bite and spooled by a big one..gone....jimmy then got another fish but the reel stopped working he hand lined it in the rest the way to the boat we had it in the net but it floppped out and , gone.. then same lure, same place jimmy gets another fish on, it comes to the boat and surges outa the water just like a tarpon shaking its head, the 7" rainbow AC minnow shoots outa his mouth and smacks the side the boat... gone.. jimmy and I were amazed to see that fish come outa the water like that, it was even bigger than the previous 2..
Awesome. These monsters are addicting to catch, and I'm glad you had a good first experience. Most people (like me) take a while to figure them out. Right now through July is the best time. They do jump like tarpon, and watching them spit a lure in mid air is, unfortunately, too common. _________________
