The seven inch orginal is a great brown, mack lure and yes, a great bull trout lure and largemouth bass lure also.....
For browns, it is not a great topwater lure, but you go deeper (leaded/downrigger) and it is the best. It changes directions and attracts big fish. You don't have to jig it. It works best very slow, like 1.2 to 1.8. It also works going faster with leaded line. It also works absolutely great for largemouth bass waking it.
It is the most versitle lure in the AC arsenal (a place for making and storing weapons and other munitions), like fishing lures....
Big Macks just fall all over themselves going after it...and then there's Pike and Muskie. They just love that lure and hammer it.
I"m sure it is the changing directions and irractic swimming action of the lure. It very well could be the greatest AC Plug of them all. The Minnow is also great! signed: inventor Allan S. Cole _________________

Can't agree more..... The 7" original stuck a 14lb mack at tahoe last sunday and the stick caught a 20" brown! Best yet so far this year on that lake! Both were being trolled at 2.5mph to 3 mph...."flat-linin". It had some great "reaction strike" movements. SMOKIN' lures. Sorry file were to big to post, but emailed Mark the photos.
