I'm planing a trip up to willow and and I ordered a 9'' Original. They are back ordered on the rainbow so they sent me a shad will this lure be as good as the rainbow at willow beach?

I am not a Striped Bass angler so I am not sure if silver and black will work there ? but if U want to turn that lure into a rainbow pattern-all you need is some fingernail polish to add a pink stripe down the side with 4-5 black par marks. I have a few that I modified like this and I've caught Browns on em. From what I have seen most Big Stripers are caught in low light so I bet Black and silver would be fine during those times.

night time you might get lucky better chance of a hook up daytime will be real tuff but like brown town said its not hard to modify ad some pink or purple throw some spots on it and go get a big one

dont worry about color ,if they are eating they will kill it .. my buddy James slays them all the time on custom pink and black ACplugs
